• Entrants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents over 18 years of age.

• Submitted artworks must be less than two years old. ​

​

• Submitted artworks must be either a painting or a sculpture.

​

• Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant. Entries must not be copies or derivatives based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs, or other artistic work. Any infraction of this rule will result in disqualification.​​​

​

• The artist should have all the rights for presenting and publishing the artworks national and internationally.

​

• Artist may submit up to two pieces per entry.

​

• Only the artwork should show in the submitted photo (no frames or extraneous backgrounds).

​

• Artworks that, in reasonable view of the organizer, include porn, violence, and/or racial and religious hatred, inappropriate and/or offensive content, will not be accepted.

​

• Awarded artists may be asked for additional high-resolution artwork photos for print. ​

​

• Awarded artists may be asked for proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
