Competition

  • Open to painters and sculptors.

  • Submit up to two pieces per entry.

  • Open for submission September 15, 2023 to January 31, 2024.

  • Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents, age 18 and over.

  • Awards announced May 31, 2024.

  • Awards for each category of paintings and sculptures:

    • First-place cash award of $3,000 CDN

    • Second-place cash award of $2,000 CDN

    • Third-place cash award of $1,000 CDN

    • 10 Honourable Mentions

Promotion

Will follow the announcement of awarded and mentioned art after May 31, 2024:

  • ALL accepted entries get promoted online on the VAC website.

  • Sales made directly between artist and buyer (no commissions).

  • Published in Viali™ Art Competition Exhibition Catalogue 2023.

  • Exposure to Viali ™Art Competition extensive art buyers’ network.

  • Awarded and Honourable Mentioned art.

  • Online and in situ exhibition.

  • Promoted to corporations and art galleries.

  • Special marketing campaign.
